The Master of Planning (M.Plan) in Urban and Regional Planning is a specialized post-graduate degree that equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to shape urban and regional environments. Graduates of this program are well-prepared to take on key roles in planning, development, and management of urban, suburban, and rural areas, addressing the complex challenges of contemporary spaces.

Career Opportunities: Urban Planner/Urban Designer: Work in government or private sector to plan and design urban spaces, focusing on improving the quality of life, sustainability, and functionality of urban areas.

Regional Planner: Specialize in strategic planning at a regional level, dealing with issues like land use, community development, and resource management.

Policy Advisor: Provide expert advice on urban and regional policies to governments and organizations, influencing decisions that shape the urban environment.

Sustainability Consultant: Focus on sustainable development practices, advising on green infrastructure, environmental impact assessments, and sustainable urban design.

Eligibility

The Eligibility for admission in M.Plan – URP(Master of Planning in Urban and Regional Planning) is minimum  55% in B.Arch (Bachelors of Architecture), B. Plan (Bachelor of Planning), B.E. (Civil), M.A. (Economics, Sociology, Geography) as per A.I.C.T.E / I.T.P.I norms.
